Isobel's Card Company is your place to find sustainable handmade greeting cards. Locally made in North Vancouver, Isobel paints each design by hand and offers ready made printed cards or custom made cards, invitations and paintings. Designs are inspired by nature and therefore are not packaged in plastic, but with recyclable materials.
Isobel selected a set of 4 4 x 6 inch cards, featuring 2 local landscapes to be added to our Community Gift Box. These cards are almost too beautiful to use! Katie Rodgers is a local North Vancouver artist. Connected to the Sherwood Park Community by her twin boys, Katie is also an active parent volunteer for our little school.

Sue Garries of Grammazoo has been a North Vancouver local all of her life. Now retired from nursing, Sue puts her creativity to work full-time with various artisanal projects from sewing to knitting to crocheting. Her market bags and Cowichan sweaters have blessed locals, family members, and the Seycove Auction for years. Since Covid, Sue has focused her sewing skills on masks. Adjustable ear elastics to get the right fit just for you, wire nose brim to hug your face, and made from repurposed fabric, she is keeping all of us safe while helping the environment.
Sue was happy to support our fundraiser as her own kids, as well as nieces and nephews attended Sherwood Park just a few decades ago. Now Sue has her great nephew and nieces at Sherwood Park and was eager to be involved in this amazing Stay Local Holiday Gift Basket Fundraiser. Since it is 2020, we have included Grammzoo masks in every single gift box. These handcrafted nesting baskets were made by Aly, the creative engine and work force behind Charlie & Ollie Co., aptly named after her children. Aly was born and raised in North Vancouver and is now raising her family here. Covid measures have closed many craft fairs and public venues that Aly would typically showcase her product at. Sherwood was happy to help a local artisan with this community minded fundraiser.

This centrepiece will take your dining and living space to the next level for the holiday season. It is anchored with a re-usable lined square whitewash wood box and filled with a hydrating oasis sponge. White dendrobium orchids, red and white roes, hypericum berries, rose hips, mums, carnations, and pinecones are displayed on a bed of greenery while the entire arrangement is topped with a festive candle.
The arrangement measures approximately 24" long, 12" wide, and 16" high with the candle. If kept in a cooler location and misted it will last up to 2 weeks.
Pick Up Friday December 18th, 2-6pm at Willow Florists at Dollarton Shopping Centre 401 N Dollarton Highway
