The Sherwood Park  PAC is a critical link to the school. A volunteer Parent Advisory Committee, all Sherwood Park parents are automatically members. You are a member of the PAC! Our primary goal is to build a school community along with raising funds to contribute to the student and staff well being.

​Every parent who comes to a meeting can vote on the matters raised to help make the decisions that determine what the PAC does.   Comments?  Requests? Suggestions?  Let us know!

Dear Parents,
 
Welcome to the 2023/24 school year! We are excited for a safe return to school, and looking forward to seeing some favourite traditions return.  The PAC is a way for parents to work together to the benefit of all of our Sherwood Park kids.  
 
Sign up to receive PAC emails
Throughout the year, we host events, meetings, programs, and hot lunches. Stay up-to-date with our school parent community by signing up for the Sherwood Park PAC email list. All future emails from the PAC will be sent out via this email list so sign up today and don’t miss out! We promise we will keep emails to a minimum and will not share your email with anyone else. You can also unsubscribe from the email list at any time (although we hope you won’t!).  You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Connect with your Class Rep and with other parents through your class directory
Each class has a Class Rep who will share class-specific information, including requests for parent volunteers, organizing teacher appreciation gifts, and classroom activities. Families can opt-in to their Class Directory that will be shared with other parents in their class to help them connect with each other, organize playdates and pick-ups, and create a strong school community. If you are interested in being the representative for your child's class, contact their teacher.  Click here to connect with your Rep and add your information to the directory.

Direct funding
We are once again requesting direct funding as a means to cover the PAC’s 2023/24 budget. Direct funding has allowed us to reach our annual goals while largely reducing the number of fundraisers that are run throughout the year. The suggested donation amount is $50 per student but if that does not work for your family, please consider an alternative amount or if you wish to donate more, all contributions are welcome!
