The back playground at Sherwood Park is in desperate need of replacement. We have been flagged as the number 1 priority in the North Vancouver School District to receive a $165,000 provincial grant for a new accessible playground. This will cover approximately 2/3 of the cost of the total playground replacement project. The remaining funding will have to be provided by the PAC through fundraising initiatives.
The PAC and the school administration have begun the process of collaborating with the School District Facilities and Planning Department. The first step is to contact stakeholders - teachers, parents, staff, and students - to determine our vision for this exciting legacy project that will enhance the school for decades to come.
